Activities

The Activities Team helps to manage and run the types of Adventurous Activities that are offered by all of the Districts and Groups in the County, They provide advice and support to help leaders looking to run activities for their young people, do so safely and to to the standards set by The Scout Association.

 

We have an active and lively Facebook group called GME Scouts – Activities Forum that you can join to learn more about the team and see lots more of the activities that are taking place as well as communicate with other leaders.

 

Permits

Primarily the team exists to help leaders gain the appropriate permits needed to run the activities themselves so that more young people can take part and get a thrilling and exhilarating scouting experience. To find out more please take a look at our page on How to get a permit
