County Gift Aid Scheme

The County has recently been considering how to make better use of the Gift Aid Scheme. As you probably know, so long as a donor has paid sufficient tax, a gift-aided donation enables the recipient charity to obtain a further 28p in the pound from the taxman. On current rules this is due to reduce to 25p in the pound for donations after 5 April 2011.

This issue of County Life includes a Gift Aid Declaration Form.  If the form, or a photocopy of it, is completed and returned to County Office it will enable County to claim repayment on any donations that you make in the future, whether personal or through organised fundraising events unless you tell County otherwise.
 
Please have a look at the form and if you satisfy the tax conditions and you wish to support County in this way, please send the completed form to County Office.
