Explorer Belt 2010 - Denmark
- You MUST be aged 16 before the start of the Expedition
- If you are 18 or over at the start of the Expedition you MUST be CRB checked and provide your Disclosure number. (CRB checks are done through Scout Network, your Scout Group or Scout District.
- Plan & train for an International Expedition as part of a small team.
You are expected to attend 3 training sessions and a pre-Expedition weekend,
Thursday 17 September 2009 Training session 1 7.30 pm
Thursday 12 November 2009 Training session 2 7.30 pm
Sat/Sun 20/21 March 2010 Training session 3 is a weekend event
Training sessions 1, 2 & 3 will take place at Leco Instruments, Newby Road Industrial Estate, Hazel Grove, SK7 5DA
Fri/Sat/Sun 2/3/4 July 2010 Pre-Expedition weekend
Cost: £599 (includes travel costs from Manchester to Denmark and back, food and accommodation whilst in Denmark, Expedition shirt and necker, Training sessions) Payments are due on the dates of Training Sessions given below:
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is due on 17 September 2009 - One instalment of £250 due on 12 November 2009 and The final instalment of £299 is due on 20 March 2010
Cheques should be made payable to: GMECSC (Explorer Belt 2010) and handed in at the appropriate Training Session.
