Faiths and Beliefs 

As members of the Scout Association do you know how to;

• Promote the spiritual potential of young people?
• Discover the need for prayer and worship, both personal and shared
• Set time aside for prayer and worship
• Give young people the opportunity to both express themselves and be able to listen
• Provide opportunities to explore and develop Scouting values, personal attitudes and a range of beliefs.

These are at the heart of all our Scouting Activities and our county is only the second in the country to establish a Faiths and Beliefs Team.

If you answered ‘yes’ to the above then would you be willing to share how you do this as part of a balanced programme with others?

If you answered ‘No’ then maybe we can help.

Our aim is to help you to incorporate spiritual understanding and development into your programme, through all kinds of ‘normal’ scouting activities.
